HOLIDAY BOOK FESTIVAL NAMES “OFF THE HOOK” FOR TOP HONORS

LOS ANGELES_ The delightful children’s tale of how Christmas ornaments help Santa Claus is the grand prize winner of the 2017 Holiday Book Festival, which honors the best books of the holiday season.

Author John Arvai III’s “Off the Hook: A Christmas Ornament Adventure” (Light the Lamp Publishing) is a lavishly illustrated and playful story. Set in a world where a Christmas tree’s star is actually a secret transmitter used by Santa to find all active Christmas homes, the book follows two groups of ornaments from opposite sides of the tree. They must learn to work together to find their missing star before Santa passes their family’s house!

Arvai and other authors and publishers will be honored in Hollywood this August at a private ceremony.
