HOLIDAY BOOK FESTIVAL NAMES “THE ROOFTOP CHRISTMAS TREE” FOR TOP HONORS

HOLLYWOOD_ The tale of a mysterious man who always puts a Christmas tree on top of his house is the grand prize winner of the 2015 Holiday Book Festival.

“The Rooftop Christmas Tree” by Landria Onkka (Outskirts Press) is the story of reclusive Mr. Landis, who has always topped his home with a tree, and always been in trouble with the authorities because of the practice. He annually spends Christmas in jail, until two young attorneys take an interest in his case. Inspired by a true story, the ending is a testament to faith, hope and Christmas miracles.

Onkka and other winners will be honored at a private reception in Hollywood on July 25.
